damages in their personal capacity.

The firm's founding partners, Beatrice Mtetwa and Tawanda
Nyambirai, are among the most widely respected lawyers in Zimbabwe
and internationally. An avid human rights lawyer, Beatrice has won
multiple international awards in recognition of her tireless
defence of constitutional rights. A recipient of the International
Women of Courage Award for 2014, Beatrice has been described by
the New York Times as “Zimbabwe’s top human rights lawyer.” She
has also received the Ludovic-Trarieux International Human Rights
Prize, an achievement which she shares with Former South African
President Nelson Mandela. As a sharp businessman and a director of
several listed companies, Tawanda brings a wealth of corporate
experience to the firm's practice. As a result of his impressive
business management credentials, Tawanda was named Businessman of
the year by the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) in
2010. Tawanda has also been described by renowned international
